About Thai Thani Arts and Cultural Village

Thaithani, located in the Arts and Culture Village of Pattaya, is a unique tourist attraction that showcases the rich culture, traditions, and history of Thailand. The village was established with the aim of preserving and educating visitors about Thai culture, arts, handicrafts, architecture, performances, and famous food. It welcomes both Thai people and visitors from around the world to come and experience the beauty of Thai culture.

The village boasts of a variety of architectural marvels, including the Lanna-style Gabled Pagoda, alms-bowl pavilions, Thai houses from the four regions of Thailand, traditional dwellings of various ethnic groups, the pavilion of arts from the four regions, and the magnificent Khan Tok Hall. The village also houses an extensive ceramic bas-relief sculpture depicting the legend of ThaoSuranari and a beautiful sculpture rendering of Kinari (half woman half swan) Playing in the Water. Murals of annual rites from all the four regions of Thailand can also be found here.

Visitors can participate in traditional craft activities at the Handicraft Square, such as painting decorative cotton umbrellas and pottery making. The KadMoua Market of the Four Regions is a must-visit, where one can taste extraordinary foods from all regions of Thailand. The Arts Pavilion is a place to admire the exquisite, diverse art and crafts of many different artists. Their works include many rare and unusual mediums not often seen in today's world.

The Khum Khan Tok Restaurant serves delicacies from the Northern and Northeastern regions of Thailand. Visitors can relax and savour these tastes while enjoying an amazing show. The performance includes many forms of Thai traditional dancing, processions, and breathtaking combat.

However, it's important to note that the village is primarily designed for coach tour visits. Individual tourists may have to pay for a meal and show at a cost of 1,490 baht each. Despite this, the village offers a very educational and hands-on experience for both kids and adults alike. It's recommended to visit early in the day to avoid the crowds.

The village offers a variety of activities for children, including making a floating offering with bananas leaves and flowers, decorative fruit cutting, and painting umbrellas. There are also traditional houses to explore and a cute little elephant to walk with and feed. A traditional puppet show is also part of the experience.

The village is a great way to spend half a day, especially for those interested in Thai culture. It offers the opportunity to dress up in traditional Thai costumes and participate in a variety of fun and educational activities. The dinner is a must-try, and the performances are worth the admission alone.

Visitors can also experience local activities such as making Thai herbs, cooking Thai traditional snacks, making Thai traditional decoration, and even participating in the Songkran and Loi Kratong Festival all day in a year. The village is situated in Bangsaray, Sattahip, and is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the real Thailand in a day.
