Tan Mayom Waterfall, located on the beautiful island of Koh Chang, is a favorite among visitors and trekkers alike. This pristine waterfall was once a beloved spot for the Kings, Rama VI and Rama VII, adding a touch of historical significance to its natural beauty.

One visitor shared their adventurous journey to the waterfall. After a day of lounging around the resort, they decided to visit Than Mayom waterfall. Despite their initial fear of riding a motorcycle due to a previous accident, they decided to give it another try. The journey was thrilling, with the road winding downhill and traffic coming in the opposite direction. As they got further into the country, they began to enjoy the ride, going faster and faster. Upon reaching the waterfall, they embarked on a hike up the mountain, missing the turn off to the waterfall. The hike was challenging, with parts of the trek being pitch black due to the overgrowth. Despite the challenges, they reached the top of the waterfall, where they enjoyed a swim in the cool water. The journey back was equally thrilling, with the winding clifftop roads providing a unique challenge.

Visiting the waterfall in October is also a great idea. There is plenty of water to cool off and jump into, and plenty of rocks and crevices to explore and hike up. Despite the entry fee, the experience is well worth it. Whether you're on a moto ride or just passing by, it's a fun way to kill some time and relax.
