However, be prepared to pay a little extra if you wish to bring your car in, or be ready for a fair walk if you choose not to.

Tucked away in the cool green uplands of Doi And Khang, this place is a true treasure. The gardens are meticulously maintained, bursting with color and intrigue. The diversity is astounding, with a surprise waiting around every corner. It's easy to spend an entire day exploring, and it's highly recommended to visit the restaurant for some of the finest local cuisine in all of Thailand.

The gardens span across numerous acres, and it's hard to believe that they are all carefully arranged. From natural-looking rocks and forest-like gardens to a flower conservatory, the variety is truly impressive.

One of the highlights is the opportunity to purchase fruit, jams, nuts, and other similar products that are typically hard to find or expensive in Thailand. Here, they are reasonably priced, although availability depends on the season.

The garden is a beautiful oasis, boasting the best ozone. A walk around here is sure to relax and rejuvenate you. There are rooms available for stay, ensuring comfort and convenience. The restaurant is perfect, offering a buffet of Thai Lanna Style food. It's particularly recommended to bring your family here during the winter season.

The Angkhang Royal Project Garden Areas are truly spectacular. Having visited numerous other Royal Garden projects throughout Thailand, this one in Angkhang stands out as one of the most magnificent. The grounds are extensive and require a car to reach all the various locations of the park. Some of the garden displays are exquisitely manicured and cultivated by the garden workers. A short drive to a nearby mountain vista reveals an incredible mountainside terraced garden of tea plants. The park fees are also moderate at 50 baht per car and 50 baht for each person.

However, be aware that the main road from Chai Prakan to Ang Klang is currently closed for repairs. The diversion may add a significant amount of time to your journey. Despite this, the fantastic views from the drive up the mountain and the interesting agricultural site make it well worth the trip. It's recommended to set off early in the morning to allow for the extra travel time.
