Despite the commendable communication and customer service of Trip Store, the journey itself can be quite horrendous due to the rudeness of the staff from Hatyai World Tour Co.

On a brighter note, the 4 island tour by long tail boat is a fantastic experience. The driver and tour guide ensure the comfort and safety of the passengers, even in rocky conditions. The four destinations visited are absolutely beautiful and worth the visit. The weather is usually fabulous and the water is the perfect temperature for swimming. Highlights of the tour include snorkeling at Chicken Island and Princess Cave Island. However, be prepared to hop in and out of the boat from/into knee-deep water.

A day trip to see a different part of Thailand is highly recommended. The pick-up service is punctual and a light breakfast is offered on the boat. The staff are enthusiastic and provide plenty of information about the trip. The boat is well-stocked with water, coffee, tea, Pepsi, and 7up. Motion sickness tablets are also available. The kayak version of the trip is a great option, offering a chance to kayak to a beach and climb up to a lookout point on the island. Lunch on the boat is basic but satisfying. The boat then moves to another island where you can hike, visit caves, or relax on the beach and snorkel. However, the drive back to the hotel can be quite stressful due to the reckless driving of the driver.

Visiting Koh Phi Phi when in Phuket is a must. The Phi Phi Cruiser offers a restful day of cruising and sightseeing. Speed boat trips are also available, but they can be uncomfortable, bumpy, crowded, and not at all relaxing. The Phi Phi Cruiser is a much more enjoyable option.

However, caution is advised when booking with certain companies. One such company was reported to be negligent, ill-prepared, and unprofessional. The company failed to provide adequate medical supplies or emergency protocol when a passenger was stung by a jellyfish during a snorkeling trip. The company's lack of urgency and empathy in dealing with the situation was highly criticized. Despite covering the medical expenses, the company's negligence and lack of professionalism were deemed unacceptable.

When visiting Phi Phi, it's important to be cautious when dealing with long tail boat operators. Paying in advance can lead to being cheated, as some operators may cut the tour short. It's recommended to pay after the tour to ensure the agreed-upon service is provided.

Booking the sunrise tour to Phi Phi islands with buffet lunch can be a fun experience, but there have been reports of harassment over the national park fee. Despite the fee being included in the tour price, some guides insist on collecting the fee from the passengers, causing unnecessary conflict and spoiling the experience.
