About Wat Po Thai Traditional Massage School Sukhumvit

The Wat Po Thai Traditional Massage School Sukhumvit Branch is a renowned institution that offers a variety of Thai Traditional Massage Classes. The lecturers, all of whom hail from the prestigious Wat Po Principal School, are well-versed in English and provide all necessary documents in English for the convenience of their international students. The school welcomes students from all over the world, including America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

Upon completion of the class, students receive a certificate from the Wat Po Principal School. The school also offers a three-hour trial lesson at a low fare, as well as a Thai Yoga class, known as Rusie Dut Ton. This class can be completed in a single day, and students receive a certificate upon completion. The school also provides original programs to support those interested in starting their own massage shop business.

The school also operates as a traditional Thai massage shop, where the therapists are known for their excellent skills and ability to communicate in multiple languages. Many visitors have found their services to be a soothing remedy for the fatigue of travel.

However, not all experiences have been positive. Some visitors have found the service to be disappointing, with the reception and the massage itself not living up to their expectations. Some have described the massage as too gentle, not providing the relief they were hoping for.

Despite these occasional negative experiences, many insist that a visit to Bangkok is incomplete without trying a traditional Thai massage at the Thai Traditional Medical School. The experience begins with changing into a comfortable traditional Thai shirt and pants, followed by a massage in a communal space. The therapists are known to be thorough, and despite the intensity of the massage, many visitors report feeling great afterwards. The cost is also quite reasonable, with an hour-long massage priced at approximately 13 USD.

There have been some doubts about the school's association with Wat Pho, with some visitors feeling that the quality of the massage did not match that of Wat Pho. Some have also found the reception to be less than welcoming, and the foot massage to be uncomfortable.

Despite these concerns, many still regard the Wat Pho Traditional Massage School as the best in Thailand. The Sukhumvit branch is conveniently located near the BTS (Phrom Phong) and is open from 8am to midnight. The premises are clean and air-conditioned, and a superb Thai massage can be had for about 250 Bhat per hour. The approach to massage is spartan, with no unnecessary frills, but the quality of the massage is highly praised.

The school is often hailed as the home of the best masseurs in Thailand. The massages are described as intense and highly effective, a true representation of traditional Thai massage. For those new to Thai massage, the staff are always willing to adjust the intensity of the massage to suit the individual's comfort level.

The massages are also considered good value for money. However, due to the humid climate of Bangkok and the practice of removing shoes before the massage, some visitors recommend choosing a spot near a window or doorway for the massage. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall consensus is that the experience is well worth it.
