The most famous and beautiful structure within the temple is the Phra Mahathat Chedi Phakdi Prasat. This is a name given by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The architecture of the temple is a blend of styles from the Rattanakosin period, and it is situated on a hilltop in the same area as Wat Tang Sai.
