The journey back to Hua Hin is a 30-minute walk to the main road, along a beautiful sea. From there, the red bus or some of the white minibusses can take visitors back.

The temple is truly unique, carved into the side of a cliff with views overlooking the coastline. It is not in a well-known area, which keeps the crowds away. This makes the temple a peaceful and serene spot, making it a favorite among many visitors.

The temple complex is about 15km south of Hua Hin, in the village of Khao Tao. At its southernmost end, there's a network of temple buildings, walkways, and salas to sit in. Above all these is a huge Buddha image. After climbing a steep winding path through the trees, visitors can enjoy the view of the beach and bay.

However, the way to the top is steep and may not be suitable for elderly folk, disabled people, and infants. Behind the Buddha image is a short walk onto a big rock. Care is needed to scramble up to the rock's highest point, but the view over the next beach is worth it. The place is much quieter on weekdays and is free, except for any temple donations visitors may wish to leave. Visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture the beauty of the place.
