The Wat Thep Charoen, also known as Tham Rub Ro, is a place of serene beauty and spiritual significance. Nestled within a stunning cave, the temple is adorned with magnificent stalactites and stalagmites, creating a natural spectacle that leaves visitors in awe. The cave is also home to numerous ancient Buddha statues, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to pay their respects and immerse themselves in the tranquility of the surroundings.

One family happened upon this hidden gem while exploring the area. With no one else in sight, they parked their car and embarked on an adventure. A flight of 50 steps led them into the breathtaking cave. The only source of light was the flashlight on their mobile phone, as the installed lighting was not operational due to the absence of other visitors. The cave's interior was a sight to behold, with an altar featuring a Buddha statue at its heart.

Further exploration led them to another section of the cave, accessed by a staircase. Venturing through a dark passage, they were greeted by an array of Buddha statues of various sizes. From there, another staircase led them to yet another part of the cave. The experience was both impressive and thrilling, leaving a lasting impression on the family.

The temple also hosts an annual event that attracts many visitors. A wide variety of goods are available for purchase, making it a great opportunity for shopping. Many families make it a yearly tradition to visit the temple during this event, participating in religious rituals and making merit. The event is a feast for the senses, with vibrant lights and sounds filling the air. Despite the exhaustion from walking around, the experience is well worth it, leaving visitors with unforgettable memories.
